Come join us for the fourth in a series of inspirational talks arranged by Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship at DTU.
We are happy to present Jakob Holst, Director at DTU Executive Business Education. He heads the Corporate Entrepreneurship activities, with a mission to help established companies create significant new business and unleash the full entrepreneurial potential of their employees. Jakob has 20 years of senior leadership experience from the ICT industry with a focus on corporate innovation and new business creation.
The talk will aim to provide inspiration and insights for exploring the “holy grail” of combining the strengths and advantages of the mature corporations with the entrepreneurial spirit and learning agility of start-ups. The talk will focus on how leaders in large mature companies can bridge the gap between the agile innovative “front end” and the company’s core business to realise new growth business from the innovation efforts … and is also relevant for engineering students, as most of them are taught innovation and entrepreneurship at the university – but few of them will eventually end up working for a start-up.
