DTU Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship is looking for a skilled and experienced teaching associate professor to carry out teaching and development tasks in the field of technology entrepreneurship education programmes.

DTU Entrepreneurship
You will be a part of DTU Entrepreneurship – a centre based on three pillars – Education, Research and an Impact Lab that are intertwined to achieve its mission to build the entrepreneurial capabilities of students, researchers, and organizations. 

The centre offers a suite of BSc, MSc, and PhD courses specializing in entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable business models. We also take pride in supervising entrepreneurship theses and project courses for students across DTU as a means to spur an entrepreneurial mindset and culture. You will play a crucial part in developing and delivering teaching and learning activities in the centre with an aspiration to offer the best engineering and entrepreneurship education in Europe where students can develop their entrepreneurial capabilities.

Responsibilities and tasks
The position involves:

  • Develop, teach and coordinate entrepreneurship units of study (i.e. courses, modules, seminars) to diverse cohorts of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students (relevant professional groups)
  • Provide academic leadership in DTU Entrepreneurship co-curricular entrepreneurship programs
  • Supervise and co-supervise higher degree students research projects
  • Be involved in multidisciplinary collaborations with Knowledge hubs and Incubators, as well as other relevant external stakeholders
  • Contribute to academic administration
  • Keep abreast of research development in the discipline, through participation in workshops and colloquium and acting as ad hoc reviewer for international journals and other outlets
  • Continuous development in own skills in Entrepreneurship and STEM related pedagogies.

Our expectations of you
To be considered for this position we require:

  • A Master’s degree and preferably a PhD degree in a relevant field of study
  • At least five years of documented teaching experience in the field of technology entrepreneurship at BSc and MSc level
  • That you have a passion for teaching, experimenting with new teaching formats and keeping the students in the centre of the teaching and learning activities
  • That you have a personal drive and you thrive in a multidisciplinary work environment.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
