DESCRIPTION:<p>We are happy to present Dr. Ellan Spero, Co-founder and Chief Curriculum Officer at Station1, a nonprofit organization focused on socially-directed science and technology, and Instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).&nbsp;<br />\n<br />\nIn this talk, Ellan Spero will reflect on the opportunities and challenges presented by collaboration across disciplines, and between academy and industry to create more inclusive ecosystems of science, technology and innovation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />\n<br />\nShe will present the holistic, integrated, and interdisciplinary model for inquiry-based pedagogy for socially-directed science and technology, and workplace learning developed and taught at Station1.&nbsp;<br />\n<br />\nEllan Spero is historian of science and technology and social entrepreneur.
